Saturday of the Gran Premio del made in Italy e dell’Emilia-Romagna was marked by mixed weather conditions, which both, Iker Lecuona and Danilo Petrucci managed to use well. Following a wet FP3, Lecuona missed the direct entry to Q2, but delivered a fantastic afternoon, as he topped Free Practice four on drying tarmac and grabbed second position in Qualifying one to progress to Q2 for the first time this year. In the decisive session, the Spaniard did the eight fastest time, although a crash towards the end hindered further progress.
The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli welcomed riders and teams for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix today with wet weather conditions. Thereby, Tech3 KTM Factory Racing’s Iker Lecuona showed his class from this morning. After securing a ninth in FP1, he improved his lap time in Free Practice two by 1.829 seconds to conclude Friday in a fantastic fourth position.
